Suspect wanted in two knife-point robberies

The LaSalle and Windsor police are looking for a suspect wanted in connection to knife-point robberies in both municipalities.

Around 9:30 p.m. Thursday, a man entered a convenience store on Sandwich Street West Parkway. He took out a knife and demanded money. He left the store with some cash.

The second incident happened Friday morning around 10 a.m. on Mill Street. Again, a man entered a store, took out a knife and demanded money.

No one was injured in either incident.

The suspect is described as a white man with a medium build and light-coloured hair. He appeared to be just over six feet tall. He was wearing the same black backpack in both incidents.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
