OPP recover stolen vehicle, golf cart and firearm in Kingsville

The Ontario Provincial Police has charged a Kingsville man after they recovered $62,500 worth of stolen property, including a firearm.

The OPP searched a property on Saturday on Road 6 East with the help of the emergency response team and the canine unit.

They found a stolen 2023 GMC Acadia, a motorized golf cart and a firearm.

A 35-year-old man from Kingsville is facing charges of possession of property obtained by crime, careless storage of a firearm, and unauthorized possession of a firearm.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
