Sexual assault in Tecumseh under investigation

The Ontario Provincial Police are investigating a sexual assault in Tecumseh on Tuesday.

Investigators said the victim was out for a walk in the Tecumseh Road and Southfield Drive area around 4:15 p.m. when a man approached them and touched them.

As the victim walked away, the man called out to the resident and exposed himself.

The OPP asks anyone with information about this or any similar incident to call the Essex County Crime Unit at 519-723-2491 ext. 7054.

The suspect is a man of possibly Asian descent who is 5' in height with black hair cut in a crew cut. He was wearing a yellow, short-sleeved collared shirt and long brown pants.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
