Pedestrian struck on E.C. Row off-ramp

The Windsor Police Service is looking for witnesses to a serious collision that closed a portion of the E.C. Row Expressway for several hours Tuesday.

Around 12:30 p.m. officers were called to the E.C. Row Expressway eastbound at the Howard Avenue off-ramp where a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle.

The 62-year-old man was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The Collision Reconstruction Unit would like to speak with anyone who witnessed the collision or may have seen the man walking on the expressway.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
