UPDATE: Body found in west end field is missing woman

Windsor Police have confirmed that the body of a woman's found in the west end is that of a missing woman.

Officers, assisted by the Ontario Provincial Police canine unit, made the discovery during an extensive ground search in a field on Northway Avenue on Tuesday.

Officials conducted an autopsy to identify the woman and reported Thursday afternoon that it is 36-year-old Sahra Bulle.

Police will not release any further information at this time.

This week, Windsor Police arrested and charged 45-year-old Brian Aaron Marbury with the first-degree murder of Bulle. At that time, she had not been located.

On Wednesday, police said they found the body of Gabrielle Vinall on Fighting Island.  Vinall had been missing since January.
