Driver sought after hit and run in Amherstburg

If you live or work on Concession #3 North in Amherstburg, Windsor Police hope you'll check your security cameras, and if you were driving along that stretch around 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, they'd like you to review your dash cam footage.

Police at the Amherstburg detachment are looking for the driver of a dark blue, newer Dodge Ram 1500 pickup truck that hit a cyclist and didn't stop.

The man on the bike suffered minor injuries.

It happened between Middle Side Road and North Side Road.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
