Trio found guilty in 2020 Windsor murder

A Windsor jury has found three Kitchener men guilty in the 2020 murder of a Windsor woman.

After three days of deliberating at the Superior Court of Justice, two of the men, Keermaro Rolle and Tameko Vilneus, were convicted of first-degree murder and attempted murder in the death of 20-year-old Madisen Gingras.

The third man, Kyle Hanna, was found guilty of second-degree murder, but acquitted on an attempted murder charge.

On the night of April 1, 2020, Windsor police responded to a call about gunshots in the area of Northway Avenue and Northwood Street. At around 11 p.m., police found a vehicle with bullet holes in it, and the deceased woman inside.

A man was also found shot in the vehicle, but he recovered from his injuries.

More to come.
