Police investigate west end shooting

A possible shooting in a west end residential neighbourhood is being probed by Windsor police.

Officers were called to an address on Vaughan Street near Prince Road early Sunday morning. Police originally referred to the situation as a "critical incident," but later revealed that it was a shooting investigation.

One 35-year-old man suffered a possible gunshot wound to the leg, according to police.

Residents of the area are asked to check home surveillance systems for footage of the scene.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Windsor Police Service immediately.
