Two homes damaged in Saturday afternoon blaze

Windsor Fire & Rescue responded to a fire Saturday that severely damaged two homes on the east end.

Crews were called to the area of Tourangeau Road and Seminole Street shortly before 4 p.m.

Nobody was hurt as a result of the incident. Two people have, however, been displaced.

The losses are an estimated $650,000.

A fire investigator attended the scene on Saturday evening, but the cause of the fire is undetermined.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
