Firefighters rescue man in Windsor storage facility

There were some scary moments for a man Wednesday morning at a Windsor storage business.

Few details have been released, but Windsor Fire and Rescue said a crew was called around 8 a.m. to a storage facility on Rhodes Drive off Clive Street, near Windsor Airport. Windsor police were also summoned to the area.

When first responders arrived, they found a man who caught his foot in the ladder of a camper, which was on the outside of the vehicle.

The man was eventually freed with no injuries.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
