(Photo by OPP West Region Twitter)Ontario Provincial Police have closed a section of Highway 401 due to a collision.
The crash took place shortly before 4 p.m. in the eastbound lanes of the 401 between Belle River Road and County Road 31 in Lakeshore.
Police tweeted shortly after 6:30 p.m. that the eastbound side of the highway will be closed until at least midnight as the investigation and cleanup continue.
An alternate route is strongly recommended.
