Unattended cooking sparks Walker Road fire

One person is out of their home after a house fire in Windsor on Sunday night.

Firefighters were called to the house on Walker Road between Ontario Street and Richmond Street around 6:30 p.m.

Investigators say no one was hurt, but the fire caused $80,000 in damages.

No one was hurt.

Investigators blame cooking left unattended for the fire.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
