OPP investigating Kingsville home invasion

Ontario Provincial Police in Essex County are investigating a home invasion in Kingsville.

It happened around 1 a.m. Tuesday at a home on County Road 27 West.

Three suspects were at the home, two of them armed with suspected handguns, while one had an edged weapon. One suspect searched the residence before they all took off in a pickup truck.

The vehicle was recovered in Windsor but the suspects have not been found.

Investigators believe this was a targeted attack. They are asking anyone in the area with surveillance video footage to contact them at 1-888-310-1122 or Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-8477.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
