Suspects steal vehicle for sale in Lakeshore

The Ontario Provincial Police are investigating a car theft in Lakeshore, where the thieves arrived in a vehicle that was the same make and model as the one they stole.

Officers were called to a home near Old Tecumseh Road and Wallace Line Road before 4 p.m. last Friday after a 2022 white Mercedes Maybach sedan was taken.

The victim had advertised the vehicle for sale.

Two people showed up and then left with both vehicles.

The OPP is circulating photos of the stolen vehicle and a suspect and asks anyone with information to call them at 1-888-310-1122, Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477, or leave a tip online at www.catchcrooks.com.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
