Windsor police seek break-and-enter suspect

Investigators are looking for a suspect in a downtown Windsor break-and-enter.

Police responded to a call at around 10:30 p.m. Monday about a burglary at a Windsor Avenue apartment complex. It was determined that a man climbed onto a balcony and entered one of the units through an unlocked patio door.

The resident was awake at the time, which startled the intruder, who fled before the police arrived on the scene. No one was hurt.

The suspect is described as a male, approximately 5’ 8", and wearing all-black clothing.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
