Over $330K of illegal drugs seized during police investigation

Three men face charges after a Windsor Police Service investigation into a drug trafficking network with links to Toronto.

As part of the investigation, officers stopped a vehicle and arrested two suspects on June 27, 2023. A search of the vehicle revealed a loaded firearm and illegal drugs.

On Wednesday, police searched three homes and one businesses linked to the investigation.

A third suspect was arrested.

Police seized crystal methamphetamine, cocaine, and fentanyl totalling an estimated street value of over $330,000. A loaded revolver, 43 rounds of ammunition, $11,000 in cash, a spring-assisted knife, and four scales were also seized.

The three suspects are all facing drug and gun-related charges.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
