Man sought on release-order warrant arrested

Windsor police say one of the men wanted for a week on a warrant has been arrested.

Investigators reported on Friday that Casey Hoyt, 41, was arrested on Saturday, June 24, on a warrant for failing to comply with a provincial order.

Police would like to thank the public for their help in locating Hoyt.

A warrant remains active for Jeffory Hustwick for the same charge.

Hustwick is described as a White male, 58, 280 pounds, with a heavy build. He has hazel eyes and grey facial stubble.

Anyone with information on their whereabouts should call Windsor police at (519) 255-6700, ext. 4000. Anonymous tips may be submitted to Crime Stoppers at (519) 258-TIPS (8477).

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
