Water fun begins in Windsor and LaSalle

The Town of LaSalle is opening its outdoor public pool on Front Road on Sunday.

The public can cool off during free recreational swims every day between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. until September 2.

Registration isn't necessary but recommended.

The town also offers adult-length swims, swimming lessons, lifeguard training, and aqua fitness at the pool. Those who wish to register can visit the town's website or call 519-969-7771 ext. 0.

The City of Windsor plans to open Adventure Bay Family Water Park on Saturday daily from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. until September 3.

The City of Windsor opened its outdoor public pools on Thursday.

Recreational swimming is offered at the Atkinson, Central, Mic Mac, Riverside Centennial, and Remington Booster pools daily from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Residents can cool off for free at the city's splash pads, which are open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. seven days a week.

Adventure Bay Family Water Park opens daily from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m., starting on Saturday, July 1, until Sunday, September 3.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
