Kingsville hosts Open Streets

Downtown Kingsville will be filled with Lego on Saturday night as the town celebrates its first Open Streets event of the summer.

The town is hosting events every Saturday so residents and visitors can enjoy all that local businesses, artisans, and musicians have to offer.

Starting at 5 p.m., County Road 20 will close east of McCain Sideroad to Heritage Road. The route heads south to Harold Gull Drive and east to Erie Street. Park Street will be closed from Division Street South to Lakeview Avenue and Wigle to County Road 20.

Saturday night's event is Lego themed. The town will fill the streets with large and small Legos for all ages.

On July 15, Open Streets is games themed.

On July 22, the event moves to Cottam for live music and family fun from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. before returning to downtown Kingsville on July 29 for Christmas in July and the kick-off of the Fantasy of Lights.

The theme on August 19 is "Things that Move," complete with a bike rodeo.

A street and glow party is scheduled for August 26.
