High levels of air pollution are possible this afternoon.

An AIR QUALITY WARNING is in place due to the possibility of deteriorating air quality. Hot and sunny conditions are expected to cause increasing ground-level ozone concentrations this afternoon. Moderate risk AQHI values are expected throughout the day with the potential of short-term high risk AQHI values in the afternoon.

When air pollution levels are high, everyone should limit time outdoors. Consider reducing or rescheduling outdoor sports, activities and events.

You may experience mild and common symptoms such as eye, nose and throat irritation, headaches or a mild cough. More serious but less common symptoms include wheezing, chest pains or severe cough. If you think you are having a medical emergency, seek immediate medical assistance.

People more likely to be impacted by outdoor air pollution, including people aged 65 and older, pregnant people, infants and young children, people with an existing illness or chronic health condition, and people who work outdoors, should reduce or reschedule strenuous activities outdoors and seek medical attention if experiencing symptoms.

<p>Windsor police are looking for help in identifying a person who allegedly broke into multiple residential units downtown.</p><p>Few details have been released, but police say the suspect recently broke into several units of an apartment building in the area of Pelissier Street and University Avenue West.</p><p></p><div data-twitter-post><iframe src="https://twitframe.com/show?url=https://twitter.com/WindsorPolice/status/1678886892853661696" width="600" height="700"></iframe></div><p></p><p>Investigators have released a pair of images taken from a security camera, and have asked the public to take a look.</p><p>Anyone who knows who the person is, or with additional information, should call the Windsor police Target Base Unit at (519) 255-6700, ext. 4350.
