Worker falls off Ambassador Bridge into Detroit River

A worker who fell off the Ambassador Bridge into the Detroit River on Wednesday is said to be in stable condition.

According to WXYZ News in Detroit, an employee of a contractor working on the bridge that connects Detroit with Windsor, was completing work on the United States side of the structure sometime in the afternoon, when he fell approximately 150 feet into the water below.

Few details into the incident have been made available however, reports indicate the man was quickly rescued from the river, and he is expected to recover.
