Suspect in LaSalle gasoline theft identified

LaSalle police say a man suspected of stealing gasoline has been identified.

It happened shortly after midnight Thursday morning at a gas station on Front Street. Police say a man pumped gasoline into three vehicles, then left without paying.

The vehicle was described as a red Jeep Wrangler, towing a U-Haul trailer containing two off-road dirt bikes.

Police reported Thursday afternoon that the man was identified. No additional information was provided.
