Colosseum set to heat up with Nelly

Caesars Windsor has booked rap superstar Nelly to perform at the Colosseum on October 7.

When he hits the stage, not only will rap fans be in the audience, but a few country-music lovers might too.

Nelly's latest country-inspired album, "Heartland," made Billboard's Top 10 on the Country Albums chart. In 2016, the album "Country Grammer" and his song "Cruise" with Georgia Line achieved Diamond status.

The recording artist has also performed alongside some of the most prestigious U.S. orchestras in St. Louis, Columbus, and Pittsburgh.

The Recording Industry Association of America ranks Nelly as the fourth best-selling rap artist in American music history, with over 21 million albums sold in the U.S.

Tickets go on sale on Friday at 10 a.m. through caesarswindsor.com or ticketmaster.ca. They can also be purchased at the Box Office Saturdays and Sundays between noon and 10 p.m.
