High levels of air pollution are possible this afternoon.

An AIR QUALITY WARNING is in place due to the possibility of deteriorating air quality. Hot and sunny conditions are expected to cause increasing ground-level ozone concentrations this afternoon. Moderate risk AQHI values are expected throughout the day with the potential of short-term high risk AQHI values in the afternoon.

When air pollution levels are high, everyone should limit time outdoors. Consider reducing or rescheduling outdoor sports, activities and events.

You may experience mild and common symptoms such as eye, nose and throat irritation, headaches or a mild cough. More serious but less common symptoms include wheezing, chest pains or severe cough. If you think you are having a medical emergency, seek immediate medical assistance.

People more likely to be impacted by outdoor air pollution, including people aged 65 and older, pregnant people, infants and young children, people with an existing illness or chronic health condition, and people who work outdoors, should reduce or reschedule strenuous activities outdoors and seek medical attention if experiencing symptoms.

Police in Windsor thank the public after the quick arrest of a stabbing suspect soon after issuing an arrest warrant.The suspect, 30-year-old Bruce Gaisson was one of five suspects wanted after a 42-year-old man was stabbed last month.The incident was near University Avenue East and Glengarry Avenue.Windsor police have issued a public safety warrant on Tuesday afternoon and the arrest was later that evening.Gaisson was charged with assault with a weapon, aggravated assault and failure to comply with a release order.Anyone with information is asked to call at Windsor police 519-258-8477 (TIPS) or online at <a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="http://www.catchcrooks.com">www.catchcrooks.com</a>.
