West Windsor shooting under investigation

Windsor Police suspect the 38-year-old victim of an overnight shooting was targeted.

The investigation into the overnight shooting on Wellington Avenue near College Avenue is still in its early stages, and police are asking those who live or work in that area to check their dashcams and security cameras for evidence.

The man was sitting on his front porch around 11:30 p.m. when two hooded people ran up and fired several shots in his direction.

The victim suffered a gunshot wound on his leg and is in the hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries.
