Police search for car believed to be used in shooting

Windsor police are asking for the public's help to locate a vehicle believed to be involved in a targeted shooting that happened earlier this week.

During the investigation, a 38-year-old man was found with gunshot wounds to his abdomen and left leg outside of a Wellington Avenue home.

Police said that the victim was reportedly on his front porch when two hooded individuals ran up and fired several shots in his direction.

Further investigation showed a vehicle believed to be associated with the incident. Police have released photos of a white four-door 2012-2015 Ford Focus SE with no tint on the front driver and passenger side windows. The vehicle's front driver's side headlight is also shown to be burned out.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
