Cause of east-end fire under investigation

Windsor Fire and Rescue Services is still looking into the cause of a fire on Lassaline Street that caused $475,000 in damages.

Fire crews were called out to the blaze around 2:30 Wednesday morning. The fire was out about an hour later.

There were no injuries reported.

Nine people were displaced from their homes because of fire damage.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
