Driveway robbery under investigation

Windsor Police are looking for a vehicle and two suspects connected to a daring robbery in the victim's driveway.

An elderly woman was standing in her driveway on Helsinki Crescent when a vehicle pulled up alongside her, and a woman inside struck up a conversation. Then, the suspect grabbed the victim's necklace, and the driver drove off.

The victim wasn't hurt.

Police are looking for a newer model dark-coloured Chevrolet Traverse. The victim described the woman as "Middle Eastern."

Police hope anyone living on the north end of Helsinki Crescent near Ducharme Street will check their security camera or dashcam for video of the vehicle and the suspects.

Investigators have some video of the vehicle but are looking for the license plate number.
