Buying weekly tickets for decades pays off for Windsor man

A Windsor man who bought lottery tickets every week for four decades has finally hit the jackpot.

Raymond Poisson matched the last six numbers of his Encore ticket in the June 21 draw.

Considering he won $25 on another ticket, his winnings add up to $100,025.

Poisson called his brother as soon as he learned he had won.

"He didn't believe me until I said I was calling to rub it in his face," he laughed.

Poisson plans to use his winnings for his retirement and go on a shopping spree.

He bought his ticket at the Food Basics on Goyeau Street.
