Police seek pair caught stealing from a Windsor business (VIDEO)

Windsor police have asked the public for help in finding two people caught on camera stealing money from a business near downtown.

It happened at a cell phone repair shop on Wyandotte Street East near Moy Avenue.

Police say a man and a woman entered the store to have a phone repaired. While waiting, investigators said the pair colluded to open a drawer behind the counter. About $1,200 was taken.

Surveillance cameras captured the incident, and police have released some of the footage in the hope that someone may recognize them.

Anyone with information on the suspects' identity, or about the incident itself, should call Windsor police at (519) 255-6700, ext. 4000. Anonymous tips may be submitted to Crime Stoppers at (519) 258-TIPS (8477) to be eligible for a cash reward.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
