Two pedestrians struck in a hit-and-run

Windsor police are looking for the driver of a truck that hit two people and drove away.

The hit-and-run happened around 4 p.m. Thursday at the intersection of Tecumseh Road West and Crawford Avenue.

The driver did not stop at the scene or offer help to the victims.

They were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Investigators believe a bright blue, newer model Ford F150 was involved in the collision.

They are asking anyone in the area with dash cam or video surveillance equipment to check their footage for possible evidence.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
