Man charged after stabbing

A 25-year-old is facing charges after a stabbing in east Windsor Monday afternoon.

The incident happened around 12:30 p.m. on Meadowbrook Lane.

A victim was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Officers quickly located and arrested the suspect.

He has now been officially charged with attempted murder, two counts of assault with a weapon, and mischief.

Police are asking anyone with information is asked to call the Windsor Police Service Major Crimes Unit at 519-255-6700, ext. 4830.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
