Suspect wanted in Windsor store arson

Windsor police are looking for a person seen on video setting a fire inside a business earlier this month.

Officers were called to the store in the area of Tecumseh Road East near Lauzon Road at around 11:30 a.m. on September 13. A person had intentionally set fire to a clothing rack.

Windsor firefighters put the fire out, and there were no injuries.

Police obtained surveillance camera footage and spotted a suspect. He is described as a male with a medium complexion, 6’ 4”, with a slender build, brown hair, and a clean-shaven face.

He was wearing dark blue jeans, a zip-up sweater with white detailing along the sleeves, a black ball cap with lime green decals, and red shoes.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
