Windsor needs volunteers for advisory groups

The City of Windsor is looking for residents who want to give back to their community by serving as volunteer members on some of its advisory groups.

The groups used to be called advisory committees.

The city needs volunteers for its Community Public Art Working Group, Age Friendly Windsor Working Group, Active Transportation Expert Panel, and Transit Windsor Working Group.

Applications are due no later than October 16 at 4:30 p.m.

Interested residents can apply online or pick up a printed copy of the application at the Office of the City Clerk at City Hall.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
