Arrest after fire intentionally set in Windsor store

A 35-year-old man faces arson and disregard for human life charges after someone set a fire at an East Windsor department store.

Police arrested the man on Sunday.

Firefighters were called to the store on Tecumseh Road East near the Lauzon Parkway on September 23 after someone lit a rack of clothing on fire.

They extinguished the fire quickly, and no one was hurt.

Soon after, police released a video and a description of the suspect inside the store.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
