Man wanted for car theft and arson

Windsor police are looking to identify a suspect wanted for the theft of a vehicle and arson in east Windsor.

Around 5 p.m. on September 22, police were called to a business on Tecumseh Road East near Tecumseh Mall for the theft of a vehicle. Investigators determined a man arrived at the parking lot in an older-model Jaguar and then took off in an unattended Jeep Wrangler.

About 40 minutes later, police were called to the area of Wildwood Drive and Holly Crescent for a report of a vehicle fire. The Jeep Wrangler was found completely demolished.

The man is described as a bald, heavier-set, light-skinned man with short facial hair. At the time of the theft, he was wearing black shorts, white shoes, sunglasses, a red shirt with Reebok in lines across the chest and a red ball cap.

The stolen vehicle is described as a black 2007 Jeep Wrangler with Ontario licence plate CZXL113.

The suspect vehicle is described as a gold, older-model Jaguar, 4-door sedan, with a licence plate similar to BENY027.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
