Belle River woman wins $100K on scratch-off ticket

A trip to the store has resulted in a $100,000 payday for a Lakeshore woman.

June Prieur won the top prize in the Instant Crowns scratch-off game. She picked up her $100,000 prize cheque at the Ontario Lottery and Gaming (OLG)'s Prize Centre in Toronto.

The winner was purchased from the Mac's on Queen Street in Tilbury.

The OLG said the odds of winning any prize is one in 3.97. Complete information about the OLG's instant games can be found on its official website.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
