Home sales were down last month

Home sales in Windsor-Essex were down in September.

The Windsor-Essex County Association of Realtors monthly report shows 353 properties were sold last month. That's down 15.95 per cent compared to September 2022.

Year-to-date figures show sales are down 18.52 per cent so far in 2023.

There were 950 new listings in September, up 6.26 per cent compared to the same month last year.

The average price of a home sold in Windsor-Essex was also up last month. The average sale price was $536,927 compared to $521,036 in September of 2022.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
