Caron Avenue fire displaces one

Fire officials in Windsor blame careless cooking for a fire on Sunday morning that put one person out of their home.

Firefighters were called to a home on Caron Avenue between Wyandotte Street West and Elliott Street West around 9 a.m.

No one was hurt.

The fire caused $90,000 in damages.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
