Pedestrian seriously injured in Windsor crash

Windsor police are investigating a collision that sent a pedestrian to hospital.

Few details have been released, but it happened shortly after 1 p.m. Thursday on Tecumseh Road East near Drouillard Road.

Police told WindsorNewsToday.ca that a 75-year-old was struck on Tecumseh Road East, and was rushed to hospital with serious injuries.

The area was closed to traffic for several hours Thursday, while investigators continued to gather information on what happened.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
