Two charged after coke bust in Windsor

A search of a home on Partington Avenue in Windsor turned up more than 250 grams of cocaine.

Windsor Police said the coke bust on Thursday was the culmination of a two-month-long investigation by its Drugs and Guns Enforcement Unit.

The home is between Wyandotte Street West and University Avenue West, and the drugs are said to be worth $25,000.

Police arrested two suspects, a 37-year-old man and another who is 36, and charged them both with possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
