Police looking for suspect in assault investigation

Windsor police are looking for a suspect alleged to have been involved in an unprovoked assault in South Windsor.

Officers were called to the area of Everts Avenue and Northwood Street around 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The victim told police he was sitting in his vehicle when a man approached him and started an argument.

As the victim tried to get out of their vehicle, the man assaulted him and damaged his cell phone. The man then allegedly threatened to kill the victim and took off.

The victim had minor injuries.

The suspect is described as a Middle Eastern man between 20 and 30 years old with a large build, black curly hair and a black beard. At the time of the incident, he wore white sneakers, grey sweatpants, and a black shirt.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
