Strike deadline extended at Integram Seating

Unifor Local 444 has extended the strike deadline at Integram Seating.

Last month, 99 per cent of workers at the auto manufacturing plant voted in favour of strike action.

The original deadline was midnight Saturday, November 4.

However, due to the ratification vote happening for Stellantis workers this weekend, Unifor Local 444 decided to push back the deadline.

"The committee is still working, they're working through the issues. They're going to be working this weekend through the issues and hopefully, we get a tentative in place," said Dave Cassidy, president of Unifor Local 444.

Negotiations will continue until Tuesday, November 7 at 11:59 p.m.
