UPDATE: Arrests made in pellet gun investigation

Windsor police have arrested three suspects after two people were shot with a pellet gun on Halloween night.

The incident happened around 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Tecumseh Road East and Howard Avenue. Police say a woman and her child were standing at the intersection when a passenger in a moving vehicle shot at them with a pellet gun.

Both were treated for minor injuries. The adult was hit in the arm, and the child was struck on the left side of their face.

Security camera images of the vehicle have been released. The vehicle is described as an older red or orange sedan with several unique stickers on the rear window. 

Anyone with information about the shooting should call Windsor police at (519) 255-6700, ext. 4830. Anonymous tips may be submitted to Crime Stoppers at (519) 258-TIPS (8477) to be eligible for a cash reward.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
