Charges laid in Lutsch Street drug bust

The Ontario Provincial Police have charged three people and expect to lay charges against a fourth suspect after a drug bust last Thursday.

The Essex County OPP Community Street Crime Unit searched a home on Lutsch Avenue and found what they believe is fentanyl, cocaine, methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, property, and cash.

A 40-year-old man is charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking, along with a 24-year-old woman and a 59-year-old man.

The accused will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Windsor.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
