Tim Hortons names recipient of first Holiday Smile Cookie Campaign

When you buy a Holiday Smile Cookie at a Tim Hortons, you'll be supporting the Windsor Essex Food Bank Association.

The franchise announced the recipient of its first Holiday Smile Cookie campaign on Thursday and plans to kick off the fundraiser on Monday at its location at 1421 Grand Marais Road West in Windsor.

There are 52 Tim Hortons locations in Windsor and Essex County, and 100 per cent of the proceeds will support the local network of food banks.

The Windsor Essex Food Bank Association served more than 190,000 people last year. Already in 2023, more than 147,000 people have sought help with groceries. The percentage of first-time users has grown 22 per cent.

The Holiday Smile Cookie is a white chocolate sugar cookie decorated with red and green sprinkles, and the icing smile customers have come to associate with Tim Hortons' Smile Cookie sold in the spring.
