Santa Claus returns to Tecumseh

Tecumseh is ready to kick off the holiday season, starting with the much-anticipated Tecumseh Santa Claus Parade on Friday night.

The parade is part of Tecumseh's Christmas In Tecumseh celebrations.

The parade starts at 6 p.m. at the corner of Lacasse Boulevard and Clapp Street, where it will travel south to Tecumseh Road, west to Lesperance Road, and then north to Tecumseh Town Hall. Once again, it features colourful floats, marching bands, dance troupes, and community groups. The big finale features Santa in his sleigh.

Following the parade, families can meet Santa and Mrs Claus, take part in festive activities, visit the Holiday Petting Zoo, and roast marshmallows.
