Police arrest suspect after woman followed home

A 25-year-old Windsor man faces criminal harassment and break-and-enter charges for allegedly following a woman home last month.

Police asked for the public's help after a man followed the victim, a 20-year-old woman, back to a Howard Avenue apartment building from a store on the evening of October 19. The suspect tried to get inside by blocking the door with his foot.

He left when a second occupant confronted him.

Investigators said no one was hurt.

Police shared a description and photo of the suspect on November 10.

Officers arrested the suspect on Saturday.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
