Windsor police renew call for tips in May shooting (VIDEO)

Windsor police have appealed again for help in finding someone who shot and injured a man this past spring on a west-end street.

Around 10:30 p.m. on May 2, officers were called to Tecumseh Road West near Campbell Avenue. When they arrived, they found a 29-year-old man with a gunshot wound in his right arm. He was treated in hospital.

Police believe the attack was targeted.

Surveillance camera footage of the suspect has been released.

he suspect is described as a Black male between 18 to 30 years old. He wore black clothing and a surgical mask. He may have fled the scene in a white Dodge Charger.

Anyone with information should call the Windsor police's Major Crimes Unit at (519) 255-6700, ext. 4830. Anonymous tips may be submitted to Crime Stoppers at (519) 258-TIPS (8477), to be eligible for a cash reward.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
