Police were called to a home on Glengarry Avenue. near University Avenue around 2 p.m. Officers were told a man entered the home earlier in the afternoon, threatened the occupant, and stole a computer.
No one was physically injured.
Officers identified a suspect and found him in a different residence on the same block.
The suspect was taken into custody and charged with robbery and unlawfully being in a dwelling.
People in southern Huron and Lambton counties are being told to limit their time outside.
